Meet Sharalyn
Hi, I’m Sharalyn. My pronouns are she/her.
I am a registered late diagnosed neurodiverse psychologist living in rural QLD. I am passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and helping people understand their identity, strengths, and achieve their goals. I take a trauma informed, nuero-affirming and person-centred approach where you feel safe, heard and valued and we work collaboratively together to achieve the goals you set. I have experience working in trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, Autism and ADHD.
I draw from a range of therapeutic disciplines, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I start where you are and am guided by you in what we do in each session. My aim is to provide a safe space where you learn about yourself more, identify your strengths and develop new skills.
I love music, hiking, baking, gardening, making gingerbread houses, all things arts and crafts and learning new skills. I have been teaching myself how to fix up and recycle old furniture and am currently developing carpentry skills.
Meet Ianthe
Ianthe is Sharalyn’s rescue cat. She is an energetic and loving addition to the therapy team and often keeps Sharalyn company when working. She loves pats, games, exploring, and treats.
