Autism, ADHD and AUDHD Assessments for people aged 15 years and above conducted via Telehealth. Assessments are conducted by a neurodiverse clinician with understanding of stimming, masking and more subtle presentations.

Stimming, sensory items and other items that assist with regulation welcomed.

Assessments for children under the age of 15 years are done a case-by-case basis.

Autism Assessment

The Assessment Process

Step 1                              Initial Contact You can contact Sharalyn Kerr Psychology by email, phone or by simply booking in an appointment from the ‘Book Now’ button.

Step 2                              Intake. After the intake appointment has been booked, I will send some intake forms and initial questionnaires. These can take several hours to complete. A non-refundable invoice of $250 is also sent to secure the clinical interview appointments.

Step 3                             Clinical Interview. These sessions are via Zoom and typically booked for one to two weeks after the intake session. There are typically 2 to 3 appointments. The first appointment is 1 hour long where we discuss your concerns and gather further background information. The second session we go through the assessment (DIVA and/or MIGDAS). This can be done in one longer session or split into two sessions. At this appointment we book in the follow up session where you receive the report.

Step 4                             Write Report. This typically takes between 2- 3 weeks.

Step 5                             Follow up session. This is where we review the report together and you get the opportunity to ask any questions.

 

Payment:

$250 is due at intake prior to the first appointment.

There are two options for payment of the balance:

·       Pay in full prior to the clinical interview

·       Pay in two instalments. Half prior to the clinical interview and half prior to the follow up session.

Payment must be made in full prior to receiving the report.
